This collection of work by Roy Ray is intended to supplement the artist’s keynote “Evilution” project. “Evilution” is a major undertaking, in which he looks back at the “mass destruction of innocent lives by the corrupt use of science and technology”. The first phase was called “Where their footsteps left no trace”. Other phases will follow at selected venues.
Roy Ray was born in 1936 and moved to St. Ives in 1974. He was Principal of St. Ives School of Painting from 1977 – 2000, later becoming a Founder Trustee of the School’s Trust.
