Michaud, Michael

Artist Michael Michaud was born in Cleveland, Ohio and resides now in Fairfield, Connecticut, USA.
He has a wife and three Children. Entering the industry in 1973 as an apprentice mold cutter,
Michael quickly mastered the skills and techniques he uses today to capture all the beauty and
exquisite detail of nature in metal. In 1991, working near New York City‘s flower district Michaels
love of nature began to combine with his love for jewellery. He began experimenting with the techniques
that eventually launched the first “Silver Seasons” collection in 1992. Working closely with museums
he has created beautiful nature designs like the “Wisteria” collection for the National Gallery of Art,
“Morello Cherries” for Victoria & Albert Museum, London, Sunflowers, for The National Gallery,
London. Using a variety of materials, the collection is produced in bronze, sterling silver and gold
metals and utilizes freshwater pearls, precious and semi precious stones and hand formed glass beads.
