Since taking early retirement from teaching, I have been fortunate enough to indulge my passion for painting and paint daily using collage, acrylics, pastel, watercolour and charcoal.
I paint still life, landscape and street scenes, inspired by visits to the South of France, life and work.
My inspiration comes from a lifelong passion for colour, form and texture. I enjoy experimenting and have developed a technique using collage and acrylics in order to create an exciting surface.
Bringing life and movement into my work, each object interacts with another to provide depth, pattern, balance and harmony thus putting ‘life’ into still life.
